The Chinese Silver Panda is a flagship coin series issued by the People’s Bank of China since 1983. Renowned worldwide for its detailed craftsmanship and annually changing reverse design, the Panda series holds strong appeal for both precious metal stackers and numismatic collectors.
The obverse features the iconic Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests located in Beijing’s Temple of Heaven complex, alongside the year of issue (2013). Each coin contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver and carries legal tender status in China with a face value of 10 Yuan.
(Note: Prior to 2016, the standard Chinese Panda bullion coins were minted in traditional 1 troy ounce weights before transitioning to the metric 30g standard.)
